Hi, I'm Thomas 👋

I'm a French electronic engineering student at National Taipei University of Technology in Taipei, focused on FPGA design, digital systems, embedded systems, low-level hardware development, and modern TypeScript/React applications. Before studying electronic engineering, I studied cybersecurity and worked as a freelance web developer, mainly with TypeScript, React, Vue.js, and CMS-based websites.

About Me

Thomas

I'm a 26-year-old French electronic engineering student at National Taipei University of Technology, focused on FPGA design, digital systems, embedded development, and low-level hardware. I'm especially interested in the layer where software meets hardware: how instructions execute, how signals are generated, how memory is accessed, and how abstract code becomes a real working circuit.

My background sits between cybersecurity, web development, and electronic engineering. I first studied cybersecurity, then worked for several years as a freelance web developer, building websites and applications with TypeScript, React, Vue.js, and CMS platforms. That experience shaped the way I think about clean architecture, maintainable code, and details that users can actually feel.

Today, I bring that same systems mindset into hardware: reverse-engineering legacy embedded devices, studying processor architectures, implementing CPUs on FPGA, and integrating video, audio, HDMI, and external memory from the ground up. I like not only knowing that something works, but understanding why it works.

I also speak French, English, and Chinese. I passed the TOEIC at C1 level in 2021 and the TOCFL at B2 level in 2023, which helps me work across international and Taiwanese environments.

If you're working on an interesting hardware, embedded, FPGA, or web project, feel free to reach out.
